It's the new year so it's a new Ask a Muni Security Guy question. This one was inspired by seeing some lady eat chinese food on BART while also reading a magazine.... How do you handle food on MUNI? Technically it's not allowed but everyone kind of does it.

After a bit of a hiatus, our Muni Security Guy returns with a primer on how Muni Security Guys become Muni Security Guys. We'd also like to let everyone know that our Muni Driver has taken a bit of a break and hopefully will return soon. But if there are any other Muni Drivers (or anyone who does anything Muni-like) out there who'd like to take a plunge, let us know-- we'd love to have you.
Previously, we asked our Muni Driver how he'd fix Muni. This time around, we're going to ask our Security Guy. And hey, if you got any questions you'd like asked, send them to editor@sfist.com.
In this week's Ask a Muni Security Guy, we wonder just who is that bald security dude? The answer will surprise you. And as always, we have answers to last weeks questions. Remember, if you have a question that you want answered, either email us at editor@sfist.com or post it in the comment thread.
We'll get right to this week's post in which our Security Guy once again asks questions that were asked in our last post, but first, we just wanted to remind you that if you have any questions you'd like our security guy to answer, send them to editor@sfist.com
As always, our Security Guy responds to last week's questions to give everyone the low down on the security haps. Since there were so many questions last week, we'll give the first half today and the second half tomorrow
In this week's installment, our Security Guy answers questions that were asked in last week's segment. But before we get into it, we'd like to point you to this story, about more concerns involving the collecting of fares on Cable Cars.
Since we had so many questions asked of our Muni Security Guy last week, we decided to split his comments into two. Today, he answers the few remaining questions that were asked. And away we go...
Today, our Security Guy would like to start off by alerting everyone to the fact that the Proof of Payment rules are actually online. You can check them out here and here.
In today's installment of "Ask a Muni Security Guy" our security guy answers questions that commenters asked last time around. He will also discuss this week's Muni news about budget cuts and their impact on Muni security. And before we go to the post, we'd like to formally announce that "Ask a Muni Driver" will be returning next Monday as we have another driver willing to answer all your questions.
Our beloved Muni Driver may have stopped writing for us, but that doesn't mean we can't get another part of Muni to take their chances posting for us. So without further ado, we'd like to start our new feature, Ask a Muni Security Guy. And standard rules apply-- we're really lucky to have this feature and our Muni Security Guy is not a writer, so be nice in the comment section.
