Last night when we and a few of our more tolerably-alcoholic friends took a break over at the St. Regis (why not?) -- which included SFist emerita and SF Gate/Chron rescuer Eve Batey for a few, short seconds -- we were jarred to find former San Francisco Mayor Willie Lewis Brown kicking it right next to us.
