Tomorrow's the 15th Annual Bike to Work Day! Cycling activists anticipate 150,000 participants tomorrow. If we had a bike and worked at an office, we would most certainly be participating. Also, if we lived west of Divisadero, we'd take that awesome Wiggle route. We hear it's the place to be.

- Lucas (1986), Say Anything (1989), My Bloody Valentine (1981): The first film has socially-retarded Corey Haim falling head over heels in love with a sensitive football player, Charlie Sheen, or something like that; Cameron Crowe's tale of teenage love and angst has John Cusack causing egregious noise pollution when he holds up a ghettoblaster pumping out a Peter Gabriel ballad; and the final film has a murderer in a small coal mining town killing those who celebrate Valentine's Day. Bike to Work Day in San Francisco is ongoing. Pictured is the ride of San Francisco Bicycle Coalition Program Director Andy "The Boss" Thornley, complete with large flag just for today. (Yes, that's the official City and County flag. It's hard to read the three words underneath the bird, but we think they spell out "Pontiac Trans Am".) That's why we're happy to be partnering with the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition and Single Exposure (formerly Shooting Singles) for "Love on Wheels" tonight from 6-9 at Cafe du Nord.
