Speaking of Prop 8, there will be a public forum tonight at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium. If the mood should strike, you can attend to make your feelings heard on gay marriage and next week's California Sate Supreme Court hearing. But, you should remember, this is a public forum, and those are invariably old-fashion. And also symbolic. Typically, these kinds of forums are crowded with smash-the-state kind of Boomer and Gen X activists (compared to, say, younger activists who want to infiltrate and change the way one sees things) looking for face time and an adrenaline rush.
