They've hired some new band members since we last saw them, so maybe they are better now - let us know if they are.

Down in SoCal, LAist reviewed Ani DiFranco, who will be here on Tuesday at the Fillmore. They declared their undying love for her and called her performance "enthusiastic, exuberant, and at times, brilliant." Not bad - apparently it was their 13th time seeing DiFranco - talk about some biased reporting.

Thursday night, if you haven't already bought your tickets to the Panic at the Disco show at the Warfield then you are out of luck, it's sold out. (But once again, we've found plenty of options on craigslist!) Instead, head over to The Independent where RJD2 will be playing. Paste Magazine calls them, "hip-hop's most adventurous musical astronaut." Listen to "Beyond the Beyond" and "Get It". Straight from their press release we quote, "This tour promises some new surprises, while RJ displays his incredibly dexterous musicianship in switching effortlessly from guitar and keyboards to bass to the turntables." Looks like the perfect mix.
