There sure are a lot of fans of The Decemberists, judging by the fact that they're about to play tonight and Friday night here at the relatively giant Warfield Theater. If you haven't heard their new album The Crane Wife, we're giving you a chance to win a copy of it plus a 20"x10" lithograph signed by all 5 members of the band. We'd show you a photo of the lithograph if we had one,......

During the post Perhaps Love Q&A, our companion dropped our gift-bagged Skyy Vodka bottle. Oh, how sad we were as we listened to it roll down the angled floor of the Castro to god knows where. So, when we got to the prom to the tenth power SFIFF opening night fabulousness of the Regency Center, we were ready for a drink. Of course, we had also skipped lunch that day, so that drink hit us......

We agree with our today's interview subject, when she says you've never lived in SF until you've been to Trannyshack. You can see Heklina at the Stud every Tuesday at midnight, as the creator, producer, and hostess of Trannyshack, the Stud's legendary drag show. She's bold, beautiful, and smart and funny as hell. Heklina will be hosting this Saturday's 10th Annual Miss Trannyshack Pageant, which starts at 10 p.pm. at the Regency Center (1300......
