The Saint Patrick's parade is happening on Saturday. Oh paraders, don't make us choose! Wait, does San Francisco let homos march in the Saint Patrick's parade?
Also this weekend, there's some kind of 12k happening in Marin; but we don't really fag out for marathons like we do for parades.
also

But When is Spinster Appreciation Day?

Here at SFist, we have a general editorial policy of opposing everything; but we've looked, and there's just very little to dislike about "Family App...

misc

art

BART

California

children

Coit Tower

family

gamins

history

jailbait

kids

les enfants

muni

Musee Mechanique

Museum

n'er-do-wells

Northern California

ragamuffins

sf

sprouts

T Park

they live

urchins

wells fargo

whippersnappers

Matt Baume

Anyway, next Sunday (the 13th) will see a bunch of museums and attractions offering free admission for kids who can prove that they live in SF. Some are pretty cool (the Musee Mechanique, Coit Tower, Tree Frog Treks, AT&T Park) while others sound like the kind of places that children might not be jumping up and down with excitement to visit (Legion of Honor, Museum of Craft and Folk Art, Wells Fargo History Museum.) Muni will be facilitating this amazing experience by offering free rides for children from 10am to 4pm. That should be entertaining.

But unlike Muni, BART will not be offering free for children. Also, they want you to keep off their lawn and turn down that rock and roll music.
anything
