A 10-Townsend bus crashed into a parked car at 25th and Dakota this morning around 6:20 a.m., injuring one passenger.

Newly installed Muni spokeswoman Kristen Holland (Judson True recently gave notice and is moving closer to City Hall) is getting broken in quick! Last night at around midnight a 19-Polk bus collided with a small pickup truck at 18th and DeHaro and ended up off the road in some bushes. The driver of the pickup truck was seriously injured, and six of the passengers aboard the bus were injured and hospitalized as well (two more passengers were injured but not hospitalized). According to a cop on the scene, it did not appear that either the bus or the pickup had come to a stop at the four-way stop-sign intersection. Muni and the SFPD will, obviously, be investigating. Originally held on Lombard Street, the BYOBW (Bring Your Own Big Wheel) Race has since moved to the somewhat more (or less?) twisty terrain on Potrero Hill at Vermont and 20th streets. This weekend, daredevils came in droves with their own Big Wheel or fun-size riding device (e.g., an office chair) to plunge down one of San Francisco's steepest hills.
