Holy Cow, Bat Segundo! What do you mean you moved to Brooklyn?!? A podcast that's truly fun, quirky, and valuable for fans of literature, this pseudonymously produced program made its home base here in San Francisco until only a few months ago. We were thrilled to come across the show's recent interview with one of our boyhood idols, Mr. Berkeley Breathed (of Bloom County, Outland, and Opus fame); when we contacted the show's proprietor to give him his deserved praise for landing such an interview, he informed us of his relocation. Alas.

You may remember Megan Morrone from TechTV -- or you may have heard her filling in on a podcast here or there. We've recently become reacquainted with her works through Jumping Monkeys, her blog, wherein Megan relates stories about her life as a parent of three children. We listened to it and were so anxious to hear more that we hit Megan up for the "Three Questions . . ." treatment. To our delight, she complied.

The coolest thing about writing for SFist is that often we introduce a topic, then all of y'all weigh in with insightful opinion, crazy knowledge, or even some amusing smarminess. The groupmind of active SFist participants really makes for some excellent reading, whether it's about bumblebees, celebrity gossip, Muni issues, or politics. We thought it was high time to highlight your efforts, folks.

The last of our slightly less-than-timely coverage of the Alternative Press Expo, which took place last weekend, focuses on folks telling their sequential art stories in a longer form. Which, as much as we love the other stuff, is really what we dig the most. We focus on Ted Naifeh, Dave Dwonch, Joseph Costirlos, Von Allan, Jaimel M. Hemphill, and Javier Gonzalez.

When the Mayor's Office of Communications announced that the city was going to start offering podcasts of meetings, we were all, "AWESOME!" and then we were all, "wait ... where are they?" It takes some probing of the SF Gov TV website to find them, but fear not, citizens, the podcasts are there. Yay!

One of the bigger stories in tech news last week was John Seigenthaler's editorial in USA Today blasting a "false, malicious 'biography' that appeared under [his] name for 132 days on Wikipedia, the popular, online, free encyclopedia whose authors are unknown and virtually untraceable."

Ian over at WULAD must have smoked some Ombuds before deconstructing some political graffiti. Dinah Sanders explains her votes in the election -- before a new TV campaign from Herr Governator can get to her. In a mood to protest, but not to get off the couch?
