Progeny of the Guilfency Impending

Bravely risking horrifying pregnancy and/or breast-feeding remarks from multinymous Commenter Matt/Brunhilda/Saul, we'll report that the Guilfency nuptials may be of the shotgun variety, as Kim's five months pregnant with a son! more ›

SchwarzenWatcher Reads the Gossip Pages

SchwarzenWatcher Reads the Gossip Pages

We have the latest and hottest political news today, coming to you from the best place to get the hottest California political news, the gossip pages. Which raises this interesting question: for those of us who read celebrity news to get away from politics, where do we go when politics become part of the gossip pages? And will all of this mean that we should start watching "Extra!" to get the lastest news on the Plame indictments? Anyways, in Monday's edition of the Examiner’s "The Scoop," there is a blurb about Entertainment Weekly saying that Warren Beatty "has been telling anyone who will listen that he plans to unseat Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger." And Cindy Adams writes in her Page Six column in the New York Post that the Governator is so pissed about the President poaching off his Republican money men, which he did last week and which the Governor was once again a very conspicuous no show, that he basically told the White House off and is threatening to become a Democrat over the whole thing. more ›

Kimberly Guilfoyle Bolton?

bolton.jpg So as it rains so hard, we stare out the window and we wonder, with a little sigh in the heart -- what is our plucky broken-hearted former first lady Kimberly Guilfoyle doing these days? Is she happy? Is she sad? Is she bundled up in a parka in the cold, cold city of New York? Well! Ask and ye shall receive. Making like a Gawker again, we turn to the Post's Page Six -- which reports that the soon-to-be-former Mrs. Newsom was making some heavy-duty eye contact and lingering into the night with a certain special someone! At a Court TV party for Catherine Crier's book about Scott Peterson, no less! So who could it be? Mayor Bloomberg? Mark Geragos? Robert Blake? Gothamist's adorable publisher Jake? No! You guessed wrong! It's MICHAEL BOLTON!!! ....maybe it's the hair? (Hey Kimberly: if he says he loves you -- he lied.) more ›

Jessica Coen For A Day

That's right, we finally have an excuse to link to Page Six, just like the kids over at Gawker do every day. Seems like our beloved Phil Bronstein "looked awfully cozy" with Mick Jagger's star-crossed ex Jerry Hall (pictured) at the Finn & Porter in Austin's Hilton. Of course, the nice woman Phil was escorting home from the Edinburgh Castle Pub after the Hunter S. Thompson wake wasn't Ms. Hall, but we're going to give Phil the benefit of the doubt, as they're probably just friends from way back. Either that, or he's polyamorous, and we're not the types to judge (at least in that regard). more ›

Back to the Boardroom

c12.jpgKimberly Guilfoyle formerly Newsom better make room for someone else on that carpet -- there's a new sassy San Francisco lawyer-correspondent making the rounds. The Post's Page Six reports that Apprentice runner-up Jennifer Massey is in talks with Court TV to become their newest reporter. Given that Massey is primarily a civil securities lawyer, we look forward to Court TV's fascinating wall-to-wall coverage of the Supreme Court arguments on loss causation pleading requirements under section 10 of the 1934 Securities Act. Massey is no longer listed as working at her former law firm of Clifford Chance, so we hope the final job interview with Court TV goes better than that one for Trump Central did. more ›
