SFist Tech Roundup: Migraine
Here in the SFist Tech Labs, we're committed to two things: science, and our readers. So we'd never let anything like the debilitating headache we've been going through for the past 18 hours or so keep us from bringing you the links to tech news you deserve. While we read the symptoms on BBC's health page, you can follow along.
SFist Tech Labs: One Billion Bucks in Their Pocket
Here in the labs, we're not above passing along a bit of Corporate Advertising as if it were genuine tech news. So we'll tell you that Apple is running a Billion Songs Countdown promotion for its iTunes Music Store. Every 100,000th song downloaded gets a free iPod nano and a gift certificate, and the recipient of the billionth download gets an iMac, a $10,000 gift certificate to the iTMS, and ten (10) 60GB iPods. (If you don't feel like giving your money to The Man, there's a free entry form).

As if the iPod dock in a convenient side pocket weren't enough, Levi's actually added a double-entendre-friendly joystick in the watch pocket. That's attention to detail.
SFist Tech Roundup: The Usual Suspects
This week in the Google and Apple News Korner SFist Tech Roundup: the same old familiar faces are giving money to each other and making life easier for you, the users of the internets.
SFist Tech Roundup: Bad Blood
In case you missed the GameSpot Annual Marketing Event at Moscone Center last week (also known as the "Games and Music Experience"), Lore Sjöberg has a write-up at Wired to tell you what you didn't experience. (The SFist Tech Labs staff didn't go, as we were afraid that 50 Cent would be there, and let's just say there's some bad blood between us.)
Homeland Insecurity: Photo Ban at One Bush Plaza?
Oh boy, here we go again. Friend of SFist Thomas Hawk was happily snapping away yesterday when he was accosted by a security guard. His heinous crime? Taking pictures of the building at One Bush Plaza -- a modernist gem designed by local architects Skidmore, Owings and Merrill.
