We agree with our today's interview subject, when she says you've never lived in SF until you've been to Trannyshack. You can see Heklina at the Stud every Tuesday at midnight, as the creator, producer, and hostess of Trannyshack, the Stud's legendary drag show. She's bold, beautiful, and smart and funny as hell.

One of the highlights of Frameline 29 (and winner of The Frameline Audience Award for Best Documentary), , returns to to Roxie tomorrow night at 11:30.

We've been trying to think of something negative to say about Sasha Aickin's since its world premiere last Saturday, but we haven't been able to yet. Even though the film deals with those so snarky and rapier-witted that we cringe in their presence, we have (gasp) nothing but praise for this documentary detailing the struggle to become Miss Trannyshack 2004.

Of course, SFist is all over Frameline 29: The San Francisco International LGBT Film Festival. We're so pleased and honored to administer The SFist Interview to Sasha Aickin, director of one of the most hotly anticipated Frameline films, , which details the fight to become Miss Trannyshack, 2004.
