Speaking of commencement speeches, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi will deliver the main address at Mills College in Oakland on Saturday. According to BCN (via CBS 5), "Pelosi, the first female speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, will address the 550 graduates Saturday morning, 'reaffirming the value of women's education.'" The body of an unidentified man was found near Mills College early this morning, close to the intersection of Sunnymere and Van Mourik avenues. With a gunshot to the head, he was pronounced dead at the scene. No arrests, it seems, have been made. (CBS 5)
