Dutiful lunch hour wage earners lined up on Wednesday with the hopes of getting a free Chez Panisee-crafted lunch. If you recall, the fresh food philosophy maven took over Maiden Lane in to showoff her new Edible Schoolyard lunch boxes, which are available at Martin Luther King Middle School.

SFist Tonight
-- Litz Plummer, the Opera Lady: Wow. This should be an interesting combo: Coming to the Eagle this evening is the opera lady. You know? The one who sings on Maiden Lane, near the Hermes store. (Where you buy all of your blue separates, just like us?) She's part of tonight's "Thursday Night Live" along with All My Pretty Ones and Carletta Sue Kay. 10 p.m., the Eagle Tavern, 12th St. & Harrison; $5.
What Would Mike Brady Think?
Some organization we've never heard of and could probably care the less about, the American Institute of Architects, put together a list of the Top 25 Bestest Buildings in San Francisco. Look for attendant show on VH-1 featuring snarky comments from Hal Sparks, Ian Michael Black, and Rachel Harris.
The Last Team To Arrive
We've clocked more hours in Maiden Lane's pocket-sized social club, Otis than our liver cares to think about, but the only famous people we've ever seen there were our guests. Ah, the nights we've spent scanning the crowd in vain, wondering "Is that Chandler, again?"
Sorry, You'll Have to Leave, As You're Not a Member
You know, we really wish there was some place in San Francisco to go that was stylishly exclusive. Really, we'd go out more, but everytime we go to some club we're surrounded by -- gasp! -- people who aren't as exceptionally talented, handsome and rich as we are. Some place where we could sit back with a cocktail and chat with Gavin about how to make San Francisco more business friendly, and joke about how 'market rate' housing affordable -- you just need an interest free loan from Ann and Gordon! Oh, Gavin, you're so droll...we seem to have spilled our martini on Wilkes Bashford.
