Jonathan Winston of Bikescape sends us this fury-inducing image he caught while wandering the catacombs of the Macworld Expo. It's a "baseball cap mounted iPhone with a handy plastic magnifying strip. Just right for watching youtube while walking down Market Street! Save for the bald, in good conscience we cannot promote the sporting of baseball caps. And we can just imagine the streets of San Francisco turning into a blood bath if iPhone users......

OMG! It's the Nicole Ritchie of laptops! (Ritchie before she got fat and pregnant, that is.) It seems that the new MacBook Air, just unveiled a few hours ago, features multi-touch ability on its oversized trackpad, similar to that of the iPhone; some sort of crazy wirelessness; recyclable aluminum case; a mercury and lead free display; and you can buy the thing in two weeks, starting at around $1799. Read more about it here.......

Good Lord, what blog isn't over at Moscone Center today, getting moist over Steve Jobs? (We would be there, too, but it's positively glacial outside today. Burr.) Anyway, for those of you who care, here are some choice live-bloggy links to today to Macworld Expo 2008. Today, in case you're living under a rock (or have a life) is Steve Jobs keynote speech, and he just announced the holy presence of the new MacBook......

Can you feel it? The Macworld Expo 2008 approaches. Shhh, you might scare it. When your editor worked in the consecrated halls of Macworld, we were surprised by the ilk that attended the annual Macworld Expo - a bit like the Oracle World people, but minus the vile behavior and false sense of entitlement. let's see, we remember two clinically-obese Mac fans fainting while waiting in line to hear keynote speaker Steve Jobs introduce......

We were just kicking back to watch our new Mac mini-based PVR announced at last month's MacWorld Expo, until we realized that it doesn't exist. This isn't meant as just an accusation of ThinkSecret.com's "sources," just a cautionary tale: there's the truth, there's what rumor sites confirm will happen, and every once in a while, they're the same thing. The rumor that started circulating last week is that Apple's new for-real-no-really-it's-happening-this-time-we-swear video iPod is......

The MacWorld Expo is going on all week at Moscone Center, and there's been all kinds of speculation going on about the internets concerning what Steve Jobs was going to unveil at his opening keynote address this morning. Rumors ranged from the "definite" unveiling of a new Mac mini-based home media PC (and we chomped on that rumor like a bass), to the "unlikely" announcement of a new Apple-branded HDTV. What actually happened was......

The MacWorld Expo 2006 isn't due to start until the second week of January, so the Apple rumor sites are already hard at work trying to ruin the surprise. We already mentioned ThinkSecret's post about a Mac mini-based home media hub, and it's also speculating on the content delivery system that device will use. AppleInsider is claiming that the company will expand further into consumer electronics from its iPod division, including an iPod-powered boom......

The SFist Tech Labs staff is back from last week's big holiday — the launch of the Xbox 360. Oh yeah, and Thanksgiving, too. Our plan to stand in line at Best Buy for 30 hours to follow some poor woman home and steal an Xbox at gunpoint failed, unfortunately, but there's still hope! Kaleidoscope We may not have the Xbox 360's awesome home media center capabilities, but we may not even need them,......
