Sorcerer Archbishop George Niederauer is hopping mad at Nancy Pelosi. Why? Because of what she said about the church's teaching on abortion. It seems on NBC's Meet the Press last week, the congresswoman from Baghdad by the Bay, while defending her stance on abortion, claimed that "church leaders throughout history haven't been able to define when life begins." Not so, says Archbishop Niederauer. The Catholic church has considered abortion evil ever since religion was concocted in the creative minds of ancient ad execs, he declares. We were stuffing our stuff into a backpack as the train left 22nd Street at 4:30 this afternoon when the hissing started and the train slowed. All of the people in the bike car stirred; something had happened. The train stopped in the middle of the tunnel, and the conductor came over the PA. He sounded tense.
