Was it Dan Noyes having to follow Gavin into the elevator to ask him a question? The on-screen listings of all the various times Peter posted comments on SFist? Or was it the fact that Noyes spent all day Monday calling every John Nelson in the phone book to see if they knew Peter "Byorn" Ragone. Rumor had it yesterday that Gavin picked Stuart Sunshine to be his new Deputy Chief of Staff, and now the mayor's Director of Communications Peter Ragone (not to be confused with houseguest John Nelson) has confirmed it.
