At last according to a Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll, anyway. Now he's making headlines for an even more critical issue: this video in which he croons an ode to pizza. It was 25 years ago today that John Lennon was shot and killed by a crazed, Catcher in the Rye-wielding fan. We'll always remember the date because it's also Mom's birthday (happy birthday Mom!) and on that particular evening we were driving home after a dinner out, happily enjoying a long set of Beatles and John Lennon songs on the radio. We have since come to learn that whenever you hear more than two songs in a row by a performer on the radio (and it's not "Get the Led Out" time on The Bone or something) you can be pretty sure that said performer has bitten the dust. Sadly, at that time we weren't so wise, so it came as quite a shock to us when the DJ came on the radio to announce that John Lennon had been shot. Talk about ruining a nice evening! more ›
