Oh nooooo! "Anonymous" (but we know better) commenters employed at The Wave rear their ugly heads again as they post the same comment twice in our continuing coverage of the concerns over the veracity (among other things) of Harmon Leon's final Infiltrator column.

Last time we saw Jill Grove on the stage of the SF Opera, she blew us away. She was a glorious Preziosilla in La Forza del Destino, showing up in a full Matrix garb, outfitted like Carrie-Anne Moss's Trinity as we wrote at the time. She came back to San Francisco, a place she now calls home, for a sold-out recital with pianist John Churchwell at the temple Emanu-El. We were sitting in the pew in a lovely cheery room, de-churchitized except for the bibles in the benches, with a blue velvet curtain as backdrop, a green carpet, cream and red ceiling.

La Forza del Destino, the latest production of the SF Opera, opened yesterday in a wonderful new production. The Opera completely reinvented this classic, and came up with a fresh and polemic take which delighted us. And with the brilliant singing we enjoyed last night, no one will mind much of the liberties taken with the sets and costumes.
