A robbery on the 3400 block of Geary Boulevard turned exceptionally grim this morning after a man was brutally beaten with a hammer during the home invasion. "Two suspects broke down the front door of the home and began to take items. One of the suspects encountered the 45-year-old victim and demanded money from him," reports KTVU. "The victim began to struggle with the intruders and was hit in the head and knees several times with a hammer." The victim, now in stable condition, was treated at SF General.

On Saturday night, a home invasion robbery occurred at a home in the 2500 block of Golden Gate Avenue at 9:30 p.m.-ish. "A 21-year-old man told police he was letting a friend out when four men rushed the door and broke in, demanding money," reports BCN (via SF Appeal). "The victim was pistol-whipped by the intruders, who stole an electronic gaming system, a wallet and a cell phone before fleeing in a newer-model Jaguar." No arrests have been made. Mission Home Invasion Robbery
Over on the 2600 block of Bryant Street on Monday, two men in their twenties knocked on the door of a nearby home, waited for the resident to answer, and started hitting the home dweller. While one suspect attacked the victim, the other swiped the their property. Both men fled from the scene. Police say no arrests have been made.
Sneaky Home Invaders Cut Power To Victim's House
A Hunters Point man was rudely awakened this morning after two home invaders cut the power to his house, then tried to unsuccessfully rob him. According to BCN (via SF Appeal), "When he got outside, he was confronted by two men armed with handguns who demanded he hand over his valuables, police spokesman Officer Albie Esparza said. One of the suspects then struck the man with his gun." Then, one of the rapscallions pistol-whipped then man. After a small "scuffle" in the resident's hallway, barking dogs scared off the two intruders. No arrests have been made. The suspects are described as "black males, both about 6 feet tall. One wore dark clothing, and the other was skinny and between 20 and 30 years old."

Yesterday at around 3 p.m., four suspects entered a home in the 700 block of Missouri Street, kidnapped an unidentified victim inside the residence, drove said victim to the bank, and demanded money. The victim "happened to see a police officer and alerted him of the robbery in progress," effectively getting his two captors arrested. Kudos! Two suspects, however, are still on the lam.
