Starting this Thursday (Feb. 14) and going until next Monday (Feb 18) will be the International Bear Rendezvous, a yearly party for bears and bear lovers, sponsored by the Bears of San Francisco. What are bears, you ask? Bears are above-averagely hairy and/or fat men of the homosexual persuasion. Although considered a subset of the overall queer community, they were, arguably, quite popular for a brief moment in time, or so sayeth the holy word of Marc Jacobs.

We know we're saving up our money for countless Halloween-themed events this weekend, so tonight we're all about the free stuff.

Electric Six are a rock band from Detroit who want you to enjoy yourself, whether that's through the guitar-heavy dance grooves they deliver, or through their laugh-out-loud lyrics. Don't get them wrong; they take their music seriously, they just don't take themselves too seriously. Click here to watch the irreverent video for their cover of Queen's "Radio Ga-Ga," featuring an (ahem) dead ringer for the late genius Freddie Mercury. Serious Queen fans may ruffle at the depiction, but it's worth a watch just to witness the concept of a pack of ghost poodles.
