Due to the traffic backup caused by yesterday's fatal car crash on the Bay Bridge, it seems that a woman popped out a kid. Jumping into a quickly growing crowd, we looked down at our watch and it said 8:45pm. What was Ingrid Michaelson already doing on stage? Right before leaving our house, we checked the website: 8pm - Doors Open, 9pm - Show Starts. Boy, were we surprised to find out Michaelson had already been playing for 15 minutes. Thursday is almost as bad as Monday when it comes to overcrowded primetime line-ups. We'll start with ABC and the "Ugly Betty" premiere at 8 p.m.

-Let's get the Barry news (that being Barry B.) out of the way first. Essentially, George Mitchell, the guy supposed to look into the whole steroid thing, told everyone he wants Barry to cooperate. Barry told him to go suck an egg. Well, not really, but he basically said that he can't while he's still under investigation for perjury. You know, we think if there's any good thing to come out of being under investigation, it's that you don't have to answer anything. Did you accidentally delete "Grey's Anatomy" off of TiVo? Can't comment on that because it might interfere with the investigation. Did you steal my turkey on swiss from the office fridge? Can't comment on that due to the pending investigation. See what we mean?

-Yesterday was a mother fu----ing protest-off over abortion.

It's Tuesday, so what better night to premiere a show called "Friday Night Lights"? Yeah, we think it's a pretty boneheaded move on NBC's part, but the networks seem terrified to schedule anything of real quality on Friday nights because they think people don't watch TV on Friday nights. Have they ever considered the notion that people don't watch as much TV on Friday nights because there isn't anything GOOD ON? "The Ghost Whisperer"? Come on! (Of course, that will change slightly this Friday with the premiere of "Battlestar Gallactica." But we'll talk more about that later.)

Hey, any Vallejo residents out there wondering what ever happened with that movie on the Zodiac killer shot there in 2003? Well, the movie has been renamed , and will soon find its way to a theatre near you.

Hollywood is busy getting botoxed and tuxedoed in preparation for the Oscars this Sunday, and the host isn't the only thing that's changing this time around. In the past, viewers on the east coast could prep themselves beforehand with a viewing of "The Barbara Walters Oscar Special." Those on the west coast had to wait until the end of the ceremonies to catch it. But this time, Barbara's foregoing Oscar night altogether, instead bringing the special to us this evening at 10 p.m. on ABC, (right after a new episode of "Lost").
