N Judah Chronicles' Greg Dewar will not be pleased. And neither will the rest of you. Just weeks after colliding with a 90-year-old woman on the corner of 9th Avenue and Irving Street, an inbound N Judah stuck a man at 31st Avenue, dragging him to 28th, killing him in the process. Overhead news helicopters, a Judah Street closure, and a police investigation followed suit. What's more, according to the Gate: The incident was the......

An elderly woman was struck by an outbound N-Judah this evening around 5:45 p.m. at 9th Avenue and Irving Street. Over at N-Judah Chronicles, fittingly enough, Greg Dewar was downing a pint at Blackthorn Tavern when the collision occurred. While having a pint at the Blackthorn Tavern, awaiting the beginning of pub trivia, Bobby, the owner alerted me to a situation just outside the door. It seems that at 5:41 pm (according to sources......

Submit your Bay Area finds to found [at] sfist [dot] com or tag them sfist and found on Flickr! Let us know where and when you found the item and any other helpful info. Today's find was submitted via the SFist Found stream by N Judah Chronicles' Greg Dewar, who caught this tag on the T-Third Line a couple of weeks ago. We wonder if Jackie ever saw this message, and if so, would......

--A feuding local family's trip to the Dr. Phil show doesn't go so well for the ex-wife. --We've been trying, and failing, to muster up the energy to write up a full post about the fake San Francisco DA intern all day -- and all you're getting in the end is a Day/Bay link. --The SF Opera abruptly fired a talented, well-liked, local African-American soprano from tomorrow's season opening Don Giovanni, and replaced her......

--They reopened the Macarthur Maze! And of course, now the bridge is backed up. --TiVo is getting a lot of angry emails after the triumphant conclusion of American Idol was cut off by recorders not padded with extra time. Always pad your live shows, people! --Left In SF notes that no one sees Tapioca Ed Jew in either his Sunset house or his Burlingame house. --There's a hilarious picture of Al Gore at his reading......

From yesterday's Chronicle article about Newsom stalker Han Shin: Inside [Shin's car], police found a map of San Francisco with the location of the mayor's building highlighted and a line following streets from the building to the Bay Bridge. Also found were a cutout composite photograph of the mayor, Shin and Shin's father, magazines with articles about Newsom, a laminated photograph of Newsom, three purple latex gloves and a cassette tape titled "President Newsom." Now,......

As of April 7, the N Judah will no longer be the MUNI metro train that will take you to the Caltrain station and the ballpark. That will now the J-Church and the new T-Third line. ...

As you can see, the pouring rain was wreaking havoc on Gavin Newsom's carefully-styled coif this morning at the Second Fake Question Time townhall meeting in District 10's Bayview district. We arrived at the Whitney Young Child Development Center at the tail end of an angry pre-game protest about how the mayor's office has neglected the Bayview, and we were also too late to get any of the complimentary lanyards that the MUNI information......

Why don't any of you anti-Daly guys forward this stuff to us -- about the District 6 election? This week's episode: Everybody Hates Rhinos. We're hurt that the Anyone But Dalys think our site is good enough to snidely comment on and about, but not enough to send response sock-puppet ads to! We had to find this one on the SFWall -- where we were delightedly checking to see if anyone else had responded to......

Commenter and Friend of SFist Greg Dewar's running his semi-regular Blog Post Of The Election Mailers (also known as the Disinfo Rehab Mail Archive), where he collects all the political mailers sent out in San Francisco and posts them as a photomontage on his blog. Check out the last election cycle here. Since Greg doesn't live in an even-numbered district, he's asking in particular for any good Districts 4 and 6 mailers, or anything "freaky"......

--D6 candidate Matt Drake says Chris Daly's never talked about tidal power before because Daly doesn't want to work with Newsom. We thought tidal power was a Matt Gonzalez idea. Besides, District 6 doesn't border the ocean. --Greg Dewar finds the MUNI Goofus and Gallant. --Arts education is coming back to SF. --The head of the housing authority still dreams of being a stand-up comic. --Mountain View is going to start trapping and killing the......
