We were looking at The Grateful Dogs alumni page, and we were happy to see that almost all of the dogs we've written about have found homes. Not to sound like the dude who tried to sell us a used Vespa the other day, but we almost didn't pick Louie for this week's Find a Friend because we want him so badly ourselves. Any shelter or resuce worker will tell you that here in the Bay Area we have very serious issues with abandoned or unwanted pit bulls with no behavorial issues whatsoever. Unlike the Palo Alto Daily News, we believe that responsible guardianship and training of these dogs is possible, and encourage any of you who are considering adding a larger dog to your like to consider Bingo or another like him.
