(Like, even his doghouse is remarkable.) The globe found a fitting home at the <a href="http://www.yelp.com/biz/chenery-house-san-francisco">Chenery House</a>. </p>

<p>But word has it that the Chenery House is now closed to the public, which saddens us. But why? What about Labor Day?
