SFPD were looking for 12-year-old Dyhemia Young -- a KIPP San Francisco Bay Academy who was last seen around 6 p.m. Saturday in the area of Page and Buchanan streets -- this past weekend, that is until they heard from her late Sunday night. (Yay!) Seems she just didn't want to go home. According to San Francisco police Sgt. Neville Gittens, Young is "OK" and hopes to make "face-to-face contact" with her by day's end. Cue Soul Asylum. Today, a little before noon, a suicide attempt occurred at Hastings Law School. We received the information via our Contribute section (which, by all means, do) and from Introducing Ashley. (Aw) She reports that a "female student had attempted to jump from the 21st floor. Luckily, her friends and local police were able to talk her back inside."
