Don't throw away that "I Voted" sticker or those ballot stubs! You can score some freebies or discounts today with them. Here is a list of stuff you can get, which we will continue to update throughout the day. Behold:

• Free 16oz coffee at Whole Foods if you present your voting receipts. Nice.

• Present your voting receipt at any Books Inc. and receive 25% off. Limited to one book. Not good for magazines or papers.

• Get a free scoop of ice cream at Waterbar at the Embarcadero with your "I Voted" sticker.

• Zipcar in SOMA is giving away free scoops of Ben & Jerry’s Stephen Colbert’s AmeriCone Dream at 191 - 2nd Street from 11 am-2 pm. While supplies last.

• Free wristbands at Starbucks? Cute!

• Wear your "I Voted!" sticker to San Francisco Green Drinks tonight (John Colins, 138 Minna from 5;30-8;30) and get a dollar off your first drink.

• Free sweet vanilla mini cupcake Kara's Cupcakes (3249 Scott Street & 900 N Point) with proof of voting. Mmm. Delightful.

• Wear your "I Voted" sticker to SPARC Dispensary (1256 Mission) and get 10% off your purchase! (Which is to say, cheap medicinal marijuana is all yours!)

• El Rio (3158 Mission) giving away free drink with ballot stub.

• Bluxome Street Winery (53 Bluxome) in SOMA is doing a bi-partisan party with food trucks, wine by the glass, 20% off bottles with "I Voted" sticker.

• Vote, show your "I Voted" sticker, and get 10% off a pizza at Extreme Pizza.

• Free beer or well drink at The Residence (718 - 14th Street at Church) with proof of voting. Great place. Nice bar. Excellent cocktails. DO IT!

Also, this could all very well be illegal. "It is illegal to pay people to turn out to vote when there are federal candidates on the ballot," Rick Hasen, a professor at the University of California, told DCist regarding the use of "I Voted" stickers and freebies. "This looks pretty close to the line of illegality." Something to keep in mind.

Our boring list is below, in order of plausibility. We're hoping some people out there might have better suggestions.

1. Head to the library or the nearest bookstore and read for a few hours.
2. Wander around the city aimlessly -- last night was somewhat bearable without a coat.
3. Window shop/people watch at the mall. Union Square would be good this time of year.
4. Find some art openings. First Thursdays would be the ideal time to get locked out -- you'll be set!
5. Pretend you're a student and crash a lecture.
6. Stand in the aisles of Blockbuster or Hollywood Video and watch whatever movie's playing all night, which would really creep them out.
7. Sneak onto Muni and ride around for a few hours.
8. Hang out at a bar and act slutty in order to get drinks bought for you.
9. Find some pennies and make a peace sign on the sidewalk.
10. Find a cardboard box and take a nap, or do some breakdancing if you can't sleep.
