And honk they did. Yesterday a worldwide Scientology protest took place by "Anonymous" (AKA Project Chanology, an Internet-based protest against the Church of Scientology), and we caught a few images of the action on our rickety, old cellular communication device. Had we had a better camera, we could've gotten images of the police surrounding the Scientology building entrance; the tour guide telling his gaggle of tourists that John Travolta was, in fact, inside the......

Today's random survey comes to us from Men's Health which listed San Francisco as the #1 city in their "Top Five Cities to Find a Mate" survey. San Jose is listed at #3, making this neck of the woods the hook up capitol of the country. San Jose was also listed as one of the Top 5 best cities for hooking up by Jane Magazine (don't ask us how we know that) but SF was nowhere to be seen (couldn't find a link, but trust us on this). ...

Otherwise known as stories we missed while we were on vacation... -The last time we heard from Krissy Keefer, the Green candidate for Congress, she and some of her gal-pals were banging the Taiko drum and handing out cookies to celebrate her official entrance into the race. We maybe a little fuzzy on our American history, but we think Lincoln started that way too. Keefer's dance troupe performed and Keefer performed the monologue during the performance. You know, nothing says "striving for mainstream political acceptance" like staging dance performances to celebrate Fidel Castro. While it's not official, word has it that Keefer is in talks to take part in a new VH-1 reality show "Dancing With Dictators." It's not know yet who'll she be dancing with, but we here the Stacey Keibler/Mahmoud Ahmadinejad team will be pretty hard to beat. ...

show you how f----- up difficult the political situation is over the War of Iraq, one just has to look at the aftershocks of Nancy Pelosi's announcement that she backs the plans of John Murtha. So we have a political party, the Dems, in a Catch-22: don't propose anything and get criticized for not having a plan only to then come up with a plan and get criticized for the plan. Which is what's happening. Just check out the excitable Andrew Sullivan, probably one of the biggest critic's of the Administration, who has taken to calling the Dems "useless" due to their inconsistent bouts of incoherence. ...
