Over in the hoity-toity/gritty Mission arrondissement, the final night of Flour + Water's guest DJs will spin tonight. Geographer, an electronic (and more) SF-based act, will pump out tunes that pair with Chef Thomas McNaughton's (eyelid-rippingly phenomenal) fare, playing music from 9 p.m. until close. Selected by SPIN as one of three "Undiscovered Bands You Need To Hear Now." the trio have released the single "Kites" via their EP Animal Shapes to acclaim. And now they can be your dining room entertainment.

Steve Jobs Eats Pizza In the Mission
San Francisco's elite Mission District proved that more insufferable over the weekend after Apple CEO Steve Jobs, along with his entourage and his self-consciously Silicon Valleyesque costume, walked away from Flour + Water because he couldn't get a table. (The food there is excellent, hence the wait.)
It's Official: Flour + Water Is a Smash
SF Chronicle food critic Michael Bauer swoons over the Mission's newest pizza joint, Flour + Water, located at 2401 Harrison. Bauer beams, "Made third visit to Flour+Water ; tastes as if they've been making pizza for years. Perfecto! Review to come in a couple weeks." Now for the bad news: SFist called Flour + Water to see if we could swing by to grab a slice or four for lunch. No such luck. "We don't serve pizza by the slice or to-go," the sympathetic F + W employee explained. Alas, select Mission residents, this new artisan world just isn't big enough for you.
