Oh Lord. Is this for real?

As it gets closer to Halloween for LAist, a contributer recollects her tale of staring down the serial killer, Richard Ramirez, otherwise known as the Night Stalker. Destination Turk Street in the TL, our First Lady Maria Shriver is coming to town to celebrate Family Day ("a day to eat dinner with your children"), and in part for "It About WE", some sort of it-takes-a-village altruism awareness program designed "to make [charity] service fun, rewarding and accessible."
