General consensus is that the whales have disappeared off into the ocean as mysteriously as they came. Possible next stop on their itinerary: the feeding areas near the Farallon Islands. We'll keep you posted if they turn up again. But that doesn't mean we can't relive the excitement of their short visit. The Coast Guard is stepping up the search for a local computer scientist who has been missing at sea since Sunday. The man, Jim Gray, set off for the Farallon Islands and was supposed to return on Sunday. When he didn't, his wife called in the Coast Guard to let them know. They have not been able to find him yet....
