This week, Phillyist saw the waters of a landmark fountain run red for a Showtime marketing stunt, the Phils pull ahead, and some serious nostalgia. They also got a chance to review an awesome tribute album, reminded folks to see the King and appreciated their beautiful skyline. Chicagoist knows what it's like to like the Cubs. But naming your kid Wrigley Fields? At least they can breathe a little easier now that Grossman's out......

Each Tuesday we will feature new music that should (or whatever) be on your radar. Standouts: 1. Hard-Fi - Once Upon A Time in the West: They have already conquered the #1 spot on the UK Billboards - now let's see if they can do the same here in the U.S. The popular first single, "Suburban Knights" is a perfect sing-a-long with its memorable chorus and orchestrated strings. After one listen, it might hook you.......

Labor Day may mark the end of summer for most, but for TV fans, it's the beginning of the Fall TV season that really signals the end of summer and its often crappy TV offerings. Instead, we've got the return of OLD crappy shows and new (possibly) crappy shows to look forward to. Like tonight, when Fox jumps the gun on all the other networks with its Fall season premieres of "Prison Break" and......

Just because all the Fall TV shows have aired their season finales doesn't mean there's nothing to watch; it's just stuff the networks don't think is good enough to air during the "real" TV season. And granted, a lot of it is crap. But sometimes crap can be entertaining--any TV fan can tell you that. We're not sure if "Creature Comforts," CBS's American version of the British series, will fall into the crap category......

Despite its horrible image quality, annoying upload limits, and MySpace-worthy commenters, we have to admit, we love YouTube, especially when it gives us the opportunity to watch Fall TV pilots weeks before they're supposed to air, thus saving us the annoyance of setting those TiVo season passes for new shows that might very well be crap. And indeed, "Our Thirties" is crap, but mind you, it's crap set in San Francisco! Of course, it being......

At last, things have calmed down a bit with the Fall TV season. Most shows have premiered, ratings are in, judgments have been cast, and choices have been made. However, in some cases, we're beginning to doubt those choices. For instance, we chose Martha's "Apprentice" over the fifth "cycle" of "America's Next Top Model," but apparently we were the only people in America who did, because Martha is moving to 9 p.m. on Wednesdays......

The Fall TV season has officially begun, and we've been programming our TiVos and setting Season Pass priorities with the research and concentration usually reserved for complex algebraic equations (a subject which we admittedly flunked in high school). Needless to say, we're both parts excited and exhausted, so let's just get started with our look at some of the week's premieres. (Luckily, Sunday has already passed, and we're hoping you overlooked the series premiere......

The final selection of official Fall TV Season Premieres have finally found their way to the boob toob this week, and one of them is actually worth the wait. The sixth season of The Amazing Race starts tonight at 9:00 p.m. on CBS with a two-hour premiere, and we couldn't be more excited. There is no better bet in TV watching this week than this reality series. "Reality series!? Ptooey!" you say, to which......
