Did you have a good weekend? We sure did. And with temperatures getting as high as the mid-70s this week, we're basking in the glow of summer come early and feeling mighty smug about our friends still stuck in seasonally-appropriate weather.

Want to rub it in? Watch this pretty time-lapse video taken at Sutro Baths during yesterday's brilliant weather, and show it around to your less geographically fortunate acquaintances. (While you're at it, keep an eye out for Sutro Sam.)

(If you want to see some actual janky-ass hair, walk down Valencia Street or sit on a bench at Zeitgeist on any given day. Because: yikes.)

Anyway, Shannon C. says:

Travesty !?!? I'm gonna go with THING OF BEAUTY.

Every guy that makes want to throw myself in front of a train has hair like Mayor Newsom's. Granted, Gavin's hair is little flat on the top and creates this weird squished look. But it's still The Hair that I love.

So true, Shannon C. So true. Nice touch with the capitalizations in "The Hair," by the way. Couldn't agree more.

You just forget about the haters, Newsom. We too know the pain of having beautiful, shiny, voluminous hair all too well. More than you know, Mayor. Heavy is the head that wears the hair like ours.
Today, we wonder no more. Our new best friends Frank Mg, Snapfish systems engineer, and his girlfriend, Catherine Chan, will be living in sin together at the swank and steely new apartment building with their pooch, Lucky. SF Business Times has the word on their first night as the only residents inside the tower:

The first night in any empty new home can be spooky; knowing that they were alone in a razor-thin 60-story tower visible from miles away was bizarre, Ng said. They dined on pizza and walked Lucky around the silent hallways of the slender skyscraper, stepping over nails and power tools in areas not quite complete.

Seriously, alone in that building at night? A bit creepy. But still, we're insanely jealous of Ng. And we look forward to not being invited to the many swank, coke-fueled parties the tallest apartment building west of the Mississippi River is sure to host. Hrumph.
