OK, the list is huge. But who knew you all wanted to see so many business get the boot?! Anyway, we've narrowed it down to local businesses, more or less, so, please, pick the place you would most like to see disappear from the Bay Area.

Wow. Current TV wasn't the only one hit today. Other SoMa/Mission Bay world-wide-web dabblers also felt the economic pinch. "A quarter of the 50-something employees in Wired.com's San Francisco newsroom" are out of a job today over at Wired. Also, Six-Apart laid off 16-plus employees. Sorry, guys. But we do strongly suggest Nova (555 Second), Zeke's (600 Third), and 21 Amendment (563 2nd Street) -- recommended in that order -- for any and all drunken commiserating.

According to Valleywag, via a tipster, "'32 have been cut from the San Francisco office" and the terms "'bloodbath'" is being thrown around.
