We love the idea of turning the Presidio into a destination. After all, it's a gorgeous place. Ridiculously beautiful parts of the Presidio make Golden Gate Park look downright crummy. And what with the new landscaping, it's sure to become the tourist destination it so richly deserves. But it has a few obstacles, namely this Donald Fisher-proposed museum. While it's nice and pretty and "sedate but glassy," the area in unserved by local transit.......

We like art. We actually more or less like the Gap as a retail store. We're not prepared to make any statements on Mr. Donald Fisher himself. We will, however, admit that the prospect of Mr. Fisher opening a 100,000 sq. ft art museum has us a touch worried....

But, you better not say it if you have any property to lose. Or, a family to raise. ...

Gavin considering a run for governor? The SF Call closing its doors? Frankly, for us, it's harder to believe that SFist Derrick tossed cucumber and pasta with butter for a dish. Cooking cucumber? The mind boggles. Matt Gonzalez calls Donald Fisher out for campaign shenanigans, and we call Moss Beach Distillery out for overpriced menu shenanigans (love the view, though!). A moment of silence for our friends and family in London. Thanks to the......
