The New York Times Discovers Dogpatch

In the NYT Travel section over the weekend, Vanessa Gregory wrote a piece about the revival (read: gentrification?) of Dogpatch thanks to the T-Third Street line and the presence of upscale establishments like Serpentine and Yield Wine Bar. The piece quotes a local business owner as saying that the neighborhood has "stayed kind of gritty" despite the influx of loft developments and yuppie watering holes.

Oh my. Seeing as how SFist errs on this side daintiness, we simply cannot bring ourselves to discuss this image in detail. Click here to find out for yourself just whose bulbous junk now graces the Dogpatch neighborhood.

Today it's Just for U.

And we so love the Power of the Blog!

That's all we are saying in our Dog Patch neighbourhood where officials have been trying to improve the sidewalks by planting rows of young saplings.

We keep lookin' and expectin' to be living in fog blanket city but the white menance is already breaking by the time we're done with our beignets at Just For You. (Holla back Dog Patch!)
