The body of an unidentified man was found inside a Castro Street apartment on Tuesday, reports the . SFPD found the week-old corpse after receiving an anonymous phone call. Creepy. Authorities are still trying to determine the cause of death and the body's ID. The BAR goes on to say, "there had been two or three people living in the residence, but [head of the homicide unit Lieutenant Mike Stasko] didn't know if the dead man was one of them. He said the residents had not been seen in 'a few days,' and no one else was in the flat." We'll update with more info as it comes to us. On Wednesday afternoon, San Francisco police identified the body of a woman found inside a vehicle at Ocean Beach as Mauvreen Zalaya, 38, of San Francisco. According to reports, "Police are calling Zalaya's death suspicious, but are waiting for the results of a medical examiner's report. Her body was found around 5:30 a.m. near Balboa Street." No signs of trauma or any weapons, according to police, were found inside the car. more ›
