When The Lights Go Down In The City

When The Lights Go Down In The City

The BAGeL Radio 4th Birthday Party was a blast last Thursday, with great music, cupcakes and even a reunion with one of our childhood best friends who we hadn't seen since we were three and a half feet tall. We saw great sets by Birdmonster and Division Day (unfortunately we missed Two Seconds) and a good time was had by all. Despite the fact that we killed BAGeL Radio for about five full minutes during our debut radio show last week (damn DRM), for some reason Ted still wants us around and our second show airs today at 4pm. Tune if you dare! more ›

Hey, Pee Wee Herman's coming to Amoeba on the 21st for a DVD signing. New fancy restaurant in the Presidio. Is quail on the menu? And David Cross's horoscope: He's reached the end of a wicked stressful cycle! We hope we didn't contribute to that. more ›

Krayg Burton from Film School

Krayg Burton from Film School

SFist loves all things local, especially our bands. In between releasing the new album, and touring in support of it, Film School’s Krayg Burton answered SFist’s questions. We were especially thrilled with his choice of best taco (La Taqueria) because not only is it our favorite as well, but it also gives us a legit (semi) reason to name drop. So guess who SFist saw there on Saturday night? David Cross! Fresh out of our mourning the end of Arrested Development the night before we ordered, looked up, and there he was, as if to reassure us that everything in TV will be alright. more ›
