Woman Allegedly Raped, Left Naked In Downtown Bar Men's Room

According to a late report from the Examiner this evening, a woman was reportedly raped after she met a man downtown who offered her a drink. The woman told police that she accepted the "drink from the bartender" at a downtown establishment around 12:30 a.m. Friday morning, but she quickly "felt dizzy and couldn't remember much" shortly after. Major Date Rape Drug Bust in San Francisco

A 35-year-old Dolores Heights resident known as "Zane" was busted by the Feds when he attempted to sell 3 gallons of GHB to a confidential informant in a sting operation last week. Zane (real name Zay Yar Sithu) pleaded not guilty when he appeared before the U.S. District Court in San Francisco last week, although he admitted in a post-arrest interview that he bought sizable quantities of the date rape drug with the intention of flipping the product. Ohio University topped this year's list of America's Top Party Schools by Princeton Review. The Athens-based institution of higher learning landed on the the party school list 12 times since 1997.
