Exotic Erotic Ball Moves from SF to Richmond
Bad news for all polyamorous bisexuals into S&M gear (and speaking of kooky local conventions): the Exotic Erotic Ball this October is relocating from the Cow Palace to the new Craneway Pavilion in Richmond. Why, you ask? Because it's prettier than the Cow Palace over there, right by the water, and they probably got a sweet deal. (The pavilion is part of the redeveloped former Ford Assembly plant on the Richmond waterfront.)
Fancy Food Fest Fends Off Famine
It's for food industry pros only, but your humble narrator managed -- at great personal sacrifice, of course -- to wander the aisles at the annual Fancy Food Show at Moscone Center over the weekend to see (and taste) some of the new treats coming to a fine retail establishment near you soon. Lots of old favorites, too (can you say Walker Shortbread Cookies?) The show continues until 4 pm Tuesday. Lots more pictures here, too.
