Judge Angela Bradstreet might have some fashionista sympathy for prolific cat burglar Pooja Gandhi (remember her?), because the judge has ordered that SFPD return to Gandhi all of the unclaimed stolen hats, shoes, purses and $4,000 raincoats that police confiscated from her Polk Street apartment in March of last year. Police found eight truckloads worth of goods in Gandhi's pad, including art with pricetags still attached, and a dirt bike, and the judge has declared any and all of it as "personal items." A San Jose robber who held up a pay day loan store and a liquor store within a week of each other this past July has successfully and brilliantly eluded police. Witnesses were not able to give a thorough description of the suspect, aside from the obvious: He was clad in a "pink, long-sleeved gown with a white and purple floral pattern, along with a tan straw garden hat, white gloves and tan shoes."
