All this to the Suns, a run-n-gun basketball team that we have a feeling have influenced Mully and Nellie more than you'd like to know. High scoring basketball, catch it. The game was close, though, as the Suns won on a last second three pointer from former Santa Clara grad, Steve Nash. Monta Ellis led the way with 31 points for the Warriors....

So how did the Giants' hiring of Bruce Bochy go over with Giants fans? Well, does the word "meh" mean anything to you. It's not that people were upset (well, some people were) but most people just kind of gave it a shrug and said that it's not such a bad pick. Kind of like when you go out looking for a used car to buy and you dream of a sports car or a hybrid and you wind up doing what everyone else does-- buy a Honda. It's not very exciting and it's not very sexy but the car just plain ole works. ...

Well, that was fast. According to pretty much everyone, the Giants' new manager will be Bruce Bochy. As we said earlier, we always liked his work with the Padres, but find him utterly boring and the wearer of a really bad, non-ironic moustache. He also has a very big head. It turns out, however, that he recently he has been seen sans 'stache so maybe he's finally realized the error of his ways. Oh, and he already has a job that with the Padres, but this doesn't seem to a problem. ...
