Tickets tickets tickets! We're having so much fun giving these Frameline film fest passes away! Today's giveaway? A movie whose title is too risque for the Gothamist vulgarity standards! Motherf***** is about the polysexual rock club of the same name in Manhattan, and how much fun it is to go out dancing in New York. It's screening tonight! There's concert footage of everyone that's anyone in the current New York music scene (we can't......

In addition to our show reviews, artist interviews, and weekly concert listings, we added a new dimension to our music coverage this year: giveaways! We know you just love to read us talking about music (see: dancing about architecture), but we did our best to put CDs and concert tickets in your hands as well. We hope you enjoyed it. These giveaways would not be possible without the cooperation of friendly music publicists, band reps......

Wednesday nights at the Beauty Bar features Hip-hop and Dancehall at "Flavor in Ya Ear." Come for the music, stay for the $2 Cuervo shots and $3 rum-and-cokes, and leave nauseous. 'Indie' more your thang? It's DIY DJ night, "Indie Circus," at the Hush Hush -- bring a CD or an iPod and spend fifteen minutes looking for something besides the Bloc Party and Clap Your Hands Say Yeah that everyone else also thought......

Our concert picks for the week of 7/7-7/13. Dear readers, we're just itching to give away some free stuff. Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson have a new comedy coming out called Wedding Crashers. You might have seen the trailer already, but you can star in the trailer here. (We're not kidding -- upload your photo and watch!) We've got an indie-tastic Wedding Crashers soundtrack to give away, including songs from Bloc Party, Flaming Lips, Spoon,......

Popscene has some disappointing news to share with San Francisco: Bloc Party vocalist Kele lost his voice today recording an iTunes studio session and subsequently, Bloc Party have to cancel the next few dates of their US tour. Unfortunately, this includes tonight's scheduled set at Popscene's 9-year anniversary gala. Shoulda booked Ashlee Simpson for your party, she would have found a way to perform, voice or no voice! We hope the mellifluously-named Kele Okereke recovers......

Our concert picks for the week of 3/24 - 3/30. We've often lamented about the burden of too many choices, last week's trip to Austin being an extreme example. Looks like a goodly amount of those choices followed us back to San Francisco. Last night's excursion to see The Sights (White Stripes' pared-down Detroit bombast + Allman Bros.' noodle-y soul) and The Kills (doomy and captivating, but we'd still prefer a live drummer) was just......
