Ahh, the Third Street light rail (the "T-Third")...for so long just a gleam in a transit rider's eye. Well, this weekend it's going to be tested out. Which is great for people who want to ride it. But not so great for people who are looking to drive in that area because MTA will close the Islais Creek Bridge and the 4th Street Bridge to test it out.

The Prairie War raging in baseball between the Statheads and the Seamheads leaped into the world of football over the weekend as the Chron's Ira Miller and Ray Ratto tag-teamed the SF Weekly over it’s cover suck up on the Niners' Billy Beane Wannabe, Paraag Marathe. Marathe is the Niners' Director of Football Operations and would be Public Enemy #1 to Niner fans if it weren't for the fact John York got that well-deserved assignment years ago.

Ha! Hee! Yeah, we need a laugh. Who doesn't? And we don't mean the normal April Fool's Day prankish jokes either. We want belly laughs. So we're looking towards the 7th Annual Funny Girlz show tomorrow night. "A Smorgasbord of Women's Humor" sounds like it might be just the ticket to stave off any mid-spring malaise.
