Lasted for a very few episodes in 2002. Well, there's a new pilot that may have a shot. See, this time there's a new pilot with a San Francisco attorney that has an angle. It could maybe have been called "The Court Whisperer," or maybe "Joe of Arcadia." This new show is called "Eli Stone," and the title character may be a prophet.

He's in New York! Tuesday he took off to the Big Apple to attend a three day event for the Clinton Global Initiative conference. That's Clinton as in Bill Clinton, not George Clinton. The Clinton Global Initiative is some big huge three day conference in which various political and governmental big wigs gather to discuss the environment and helping the poor people and Africa and all that stuff that George Clooney and Angelina Jolie talk about.

SFist spent the weekend in the motherland which always gets us to thinking about immigration. It's a tough haul to make it through the bureaucracy to become an American citizen, and that doesn't even touch on some of the experiences that those in refugee situations have been through before even putting pen to paper.
