Police issued an Amber Alert this morning for a missing 11-year-old San Jose girl. Her name is Taylor Vo (Asian, 5'3") and she was taken at around 1:15 a.m. Friday. Police describe the suspect as Tri Le, 42 y/o, Asian male, 5'6". He has black hair and brown eyes and "was last seen wearing a black cap, black jacket and blue jeans. more ›

An statewide amber alert was issued Friday morning. A four-year-old white boy was snatched in Atascadero. Officials said was kidnapped from a church. He is described as a white male, 3' 6", 33 lbs. with brown hair and brown eyes. The suspect, Annette Hale, is described as a 52-year-old Hispanic female, somewhere around 5' 4", 200 lbs. with brown hair and eyes. more ›

Part of National Missing Children’s Day on Wednesday, May 25, the Presidio Trust, the United States Park Police and the Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association will hold a free Fingerprint Your Child from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Walt Disney Family Museum in the Presidio. Fingerprint cards will be given to parents to keep and distribute to law agencies if, God forbid, anything bad should happen. Parents can also add additional information such as a physical description, medical and dental records, even a DNA sample on the cars, which can then be used by any law enforcement agency to help identify a missing child. She is a Hispanic girl, 4-feet tall, 45 pounds, has brown hair, and was last seen wearing a white jacket, a light blue shirt, and blue jeans. According to reports, the fuzz suspects 24-year-old Mark Porter of swiping the girl. He is 5’7”, 180 pounds, has brown hair, and is also Hispanic. A presumably unfit father who "has a known drug history and is known to frequent the Oakland area" took off with his son today, claiming that he was taking him to McDonald's, but never returned. According to ABC 7, "Harold Bennett left his home with his child Justin Nottingham...Bennett is about 5'9, 245 pounds, has brown eyes and a bald haircut. Justin Nottingham is 5-years-old.
