As SFist reported earlier that paint was used as a weapon during tonight's unrest. Following a scuffle between the fuzz and civilian, "fellow protesters responded by throwing bottles and paint balloons at officers. The officers responded by charging at the crowd and issuing a dispersal order." What started as a small after dark gathering of Occupiers over sandwiches and Capri Suns in Dolores Park ended with smashed windows and vandalism along Valencia Street. So far there are an estimated hundred or so protesters inside, one brandishing a bullhorn to shout and chant stuff. Supervisors Eric Mar and David Campos have shouted into the bullhorn. Others might too. Cops are at the scene and reportedly "concerned about the noise level." It's all very exciting. (Not season finale of RuPaul's Drag Race exciting, but thrilling nevertheless.)
