A woman is recovering today, after she was shot by one member of a group of men as she walked down a street in San Francisco's Tenderloin.

The San Francisco Police Department says the shooting went down at 3:31 a.m. Sunday, on the 400 block of Turk Street, which is between Larkin and Hyde Streets.

The 33-year-old female victim "was walking down the street when she encountered" a group of four male suspects, according to the SFPD. One of the men, who police say was in his 20s, fired multiple rounds from a gun as she passed.

The victim was struck in the leg, police say, and the men fled by foot.

The victim was transported to San Francisco General Hospital for treatment of injuries police say are not life-threatening. The suspects, who were last seen heading west on Turk, remain at large, and police say that no arrests have been made in this case.
