Put away your raincoats and umbrellas for now. The weather is expected to be sunny and swell all week long, and things are going to warm up in San Francisco to near 70 on Saturday, if the forecast holds.

Throngs of people should be headed out to Dolores Park this weekend, or even to the beach if they're feeling ambitious and don't mind the wind. The Weather Channel has us seeing a high of 67 on Friday and 69 on Saturday, which means it could feel even warmer in places like the Mission.

The warming trend starts Tuesday with a high of 67 in the city according to a National Weather Service forecaster speaking with the Chronicle (or 65 if you believe the Weather Channel).

Thursday is looking like it will be windy, but otherwise you can bask in some rays at lunch any time this week, and maybe take a stroll and seek out some of the pretty cherry blossom trees now in bloom.
