A motorist in the Richmond District yesterday either missed a few warning signs or intentionally sought to make a mark on the area, driving straight into wet concrete. A tipster to SFist snapped these photos of the rescue — the car was pulled out via tractor — which we present here to sound a note of caution and, let's be real, for your amusement.

Lest you think this tipster was some heartless rubbernecker, do take note. "After the construction crew pulled the driver out with the tractor I helped and washed out the brakes and underside with a hose," the photographer writes.

Was this all a ploy for a free car wash? We may never know.
